Hey, I’m Mario — and if you’re here, there’s a good chance you love to travel as much as I do.
I’ve always been someone who gets restless staying in one place for too long. There’s something about stepping off a plane (or out of a car on a long road trip) somewhere new that just never gets old for me. New streets, new food, new people — I’m hooked every single time.
I started Traveeler because I kept finding myself going down rabbit holes before every trip, spending hours piecing together information from a dozen different sources. I figured if I was doing all that research anyway, I might as well write it up properly so other people could actually use it. So that’s what this place is — practical, honest travel guides from someone who genuinely loves being on the road.
Over the years I’ve explored a lot of corners of the world. The USA keeps pulling me back — there’s honestly so much here that people overlook in a rush to book flights overseas. National parks, coastal towns, wine country, theme parks with the family — I could do it forever. But Europe has a special place for me too. There’s something about walking down a cobblestone street in Edinburgh or watching the sun set over the Adriatic that makes you feel very small and very alive at the same time.
I also find myself drawn to tropical islands whenever life gets too loud, and I’ve been slowly working my way through Asia and the Middle East — both wildly underrated if you ask me.
On this blog you’ll find destination guides, itineraries, travel tips, and honest takes on everything from budget travel to weekend getaways. I try to write the kind of guide I’d actually want to read before a trip — not too fluffy, not too dry, just useful.
If you’re planning a trip and need help figuring out where to stay, what to do, or how long to spend somewhere, you’re in the right place.
Happy travels, Mario ✈️
